Introduction

Ultimate Walk-Up Music ("we," "our," or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use our mobile application.

Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name through Firebase Authentication. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive the profile information you authorize.

Team & Player Data: You provide team names, player names, jersey numbers, and nicknames. This data is stored locally on your device in a SQLite database.

Audio Files: Walk-up songs you upload or select from the built-in library are stored locally on your device. Generated announcements (TTS audio) are also stored locally.

Usage Data: We do not collect analytics, usage patterns, or behavioral data.

How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account
• To generate text-to-speech announcements for your players
• To provide the walk-up music playback experience
• To sync your account across devices (via Firebase Authentication only)

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services

Firebase (Google): We use Firebase Authentication to manage user accounts. Firebase's privacy policy applies to data processed by their service. Firebase Privacy Policy

ElevenLabs: If you use premium AI announcer voices, the announcement text (player names, jersey numbers, team names) is sent to the ElevenLabs API for text-to-speech processing. ElevenLabs processes this text to generate audio and does not retain it. ElevenLabs Privacy Policy

Data Storage

All team data, player data, audio files, and app settings are stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that store your content. Your data remains on your device and is removed when you uninstall the app.

Account authentication data (email, display name) is stored in Firebase's cloud infrastructure, which is operated by Google and subject to Google's data processing terms.

Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Ultimate Walk-Up Music is designed for use by coaches and parents managing youth sports teams. The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Player names and jersey numbers entered by coaches are stored locally on the coach's device and are used solely for generating walk-up announcements. This data is not transmitted to our servers.

If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the app, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

Data Deletion

You can delete your data at any time:

• Delete individual players or teams: Use the edit or delete options within the app.
• Delete your account: Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. This permanently removes your Firebase account and all associated data.
• Uninstall the app: All locally stored data (teams, players, audio files) is automatically removed when you uninstall the app.

Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information. Authentication is handled through Firebase's secure infrastructure. Local data is stored in the app's sandboxed storage, which is protected by the operating system.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
